It's Time to Federally Legalize Marijuana in Texas

Texas has one of the strictest cannabis enforcement regimes in the nation, with hundreds of thousands of marijuana arrests each year draining law enforcement resources and disrupting lives across the state. Despite strong polling support for legalization among Texas voters across party lines, the legislature has repeatedly refused to advance meaningful reform. Federal legalization would override Texas's prohibition and give millions of Texans the same rights that Americans in most other states now take for granted.
